Consumer goods warranty and post sale assistence
Our articles have a two year warranty (or six months if the buyer is a legal entity) for manufacturing defects and problems related to the materials used.
If the product has a defect or anomaly, this should be communicated to our post sales email (reclamacao@sofaszone.pt), identifying the order number and the description of the malfunction/damage, and sending photos that indicate the status of the product.
Article repair under warranty
All items purchased from the SofásZone group benefit from a two year compliance legal guarantee (or six months if the acquirer is a legal entity) following its delivery to the customer, provided that the warranty conditions of the brand are fulfilled.
For the customer to trigger the legal warranty, the presentation of the purchase invoice is necessary in any SofásZone establishment.
For the article to be repaired, the respective process will only start after the delivery of the necessary documentation. The expected repair time is 30 (thirty) days.
If technical verification detects the existence of signs of misuse and / or any problems that may have led to the apparent inconsistency (eg humidity, abrasive use or corrosive chemicals, fall, etc.), the customer will be contacted about whether they intend to take the necessary steps to repair the article, and the corresponding repair budget will be communicated to them.
Rejection of the budget by the customer is subject to payment of a budget rate of €20.
The budget rate should be paid when the item is picked up.
The repair process only starts when payment of the amount budgeted has been effected.
Article repairs outside of the warranty
Articles outside of their warranty will be taken care of by the manufacturer.
Notwithstanding, as otherwise stated in the manufacturer's warranty conditions, all supplied components have a two year warranty, unless product failure results from misuse of the article by the customer.
SofásZone reserves the right , in case the articles are not picked up after 15 days following repair, to charge a storage fee of €7/day as well as storing the item in another location, after 30 days counting from the day the item is repaired.
SofásZone will not be liable for any loss or direct injury, accidental, special or consequential damages, including immobilization costs, replacement services and ceasing profits.
Minimum diagnosis rate: € 30.00.
If the repair demands technical intervention by means unavailable to our stores or our manufacturers, the customer hereby authorizes the moving of the article to specialized laboratories.
SofásZone warranty periods
Structure
Sofaszone warrants the wooden structure of the sofas for a period of two years or six months, depending on whether the client is an indivual person or legal entity, respectively, counted from the date of delivery of the good.
Foams
The guarantee of foams is two years or six months in relation to loss of resistence, depending on whether the client is an indivual person or legal entity , respectively, counted from the date of delivery of the good.
Fabric
The fabrics used in revetment has a warranty of two years or six months, depending on whether the client is a indivual person or legal entity, respectively, against seam fraying, shred and fading, also counted from the delivery date.
Warranty exclusion clauses
- Problems related to misuse, cleaning or irregular handling.
- Problems related to the transport and storage of the product after delivery.
- Discoloration by direct exposure to sunlight.
- Stains caused by unlisted agents in items 4 and 8 of the instructions for use.
- Damage caused by natural hazards such as floods or accidents of any kind.
- Damage caused by non-observance of items 1 through 8 of the instructions of use.
